Antonio Borges
It is with the deepest regret that we report the death yesterday, 25th August 2013, of Antonio Borges. Antonio was the first Chairman of the Board when the ECGI was founded in 2002. He held this post until 2010, during which time he provided exemplary leadership of our Institute and the Board through his unique combination of academic, public sector and business experience. Above all, he was scrupulous in protecting the academic reputation of the Institute and promoting the value of academic research in both business and the wider world.
